Lauren S. Antonino Lauren S. Antonino is of counsel to Fleming Law, P.C. Ms. Antonino is a trial lawyer with over 20 years of successful litigation experience. During the first twenty years of her career, Ms. Antonino was a partner at three of the most prestigious law firms in the country. During this time, Lauren regularly advised senior management of publicly traded and private corporations and she successfully litigated a variety of important cases in areas such as plaintiff class action, securities fraud, personal injury, wrongful death, products liability class action litigation, medical malpractice, complex business disputes, corporate breach of contract, insurance coverage disputes and wrongful termination. Lauren is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Duke University and the University of Virginia School of Law. During law school, Ms. Antonino served as counsel in front of the University's Honor Board. Following law school, Ms. Antonino clerked for the late Honorable M. Oliver Koelsch of the Ninth Circuit United States Court of Appeals in Seattle, Washington, before entering private practice.

Ms. Antonino is a creative and aggressive litigator who has received numerous honors, including acceptance into The American Mensa Society, and Who’s Who in American Law.

Some of Ms. Antonino’s trial successes include:

  • A $43.5 million Securities Class Action settlement
  • Obtaining summary judgment on behalf of her client in a complex products liability action
  • Negotiating a settlement in excess of policy limits which on behalf of her client who was injured by another driver who had minimum insurance coverage
  • Defense of physician/owner of cosmetic surgery business in wrongful death suit and simultaneous representation in insurance coverage dispute
  • Granting of motion to dismiss on behalf of bottling company in product liability action, resulting in dismissal of fear of AIDS claim
  • Defense of publicly traded bus manufacturer in breach of contract and breach of warranty cases
  • Recovery of overdue commissions by former employee and resolution of trade secret and non-competition claims
  • Successful defense of employment discrimination cases for 10% of value of case as determined by neutral through early case evaluation procedure.

Ms. Antonino has been recognized as one of Georgia's "Super Lawyers," by Law & Politics Magazine and Atlanta Magazine. She has extensive experience in federal court and is admitted to practice in all Georgia State Courts and the Northern District of Georgia Federal Court. In addition, she has successfully litigated throughout the country pro hac vice.

Ms. Antonino has been interviewed regarding legal matters by CBS Evening News and Business Week. She is active in her community and has served as past President of the Atlanta Legal Clinic for the Homeless and has sat on the advisory board of Atlanta Legal Aid.
